Sculptor, Victor Kahill, first took up photography before he began sculpting. He travelled around southern Maine and photographed scenic views.

For this photograph he stood in a field near Stone Road, off Hio Ridge Road, in 1919 to snap this black and white photograph of Pleasant Mountain and Moose Pond.
