Collecting, Preserving, Protecting and Sharing Denmark’s History
Denmark Historical Society was organized in 1989 to coordinate the efforts of a group of residents who demonstrated an interest in the history of Denmark. They wished to encourage broad participation in the preservation and enjoyment of Denmark’s rich heritage.
More specifically, the goals of the society are to collect and preserve historical memorabilia and important records, documents and images relating to the town.
Our archives are located in the basement of Denmark Public Library.
We invite you to visit our website often, as we are continuously updating and adding content. And through this site, we can now reach out to a more expansive audience.
We welcome your query, if you are researching your Denmark family’s history.
