Denmark, Maine is a small, rural community in southwestern Maine, near Pleasant Mountain, the Saco River, and with many lakes, ponds, streams, and forests.
Denmark Historical Society was organized in 1989 to collect and preserve memorabilia, records, documents, and images relating to Denmark; and who wished to encourage broad participation in preservation and enjoyment of Denmarkâs rich heritage.
Our archives are located at Denmark Public Library.
We cannot move forward without active participation from the community. Consider becoming a member or a volunteer.
